The Legacy Color Run and Walk 5k is a fun, family, event intended to raise money to support grants provided by the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Education Foundation, Inc.

Participants who register before April 10th are guaranteed to get a free color run shirt.

Participants ages 11 and up will compete for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place for their age group and gender.

Participants 10 and under will get a participation ribbon only.

Little Cypress Mauriceville Education Foundation, Inc - "Investing in tomorrow through the youth of today"

The LCM Education Foundation was established in 2002 by patrons of the Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD, with the goal of assisting the professional educator in providing the best possible education to students of the LCM District.

The Mission:

The mission of the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Education Foundation, Inc. is to receive and administer gifts, and to make grants, in order to enhance teaching and learning in the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Consolidated Independent School District.

The Goals:

- Encourage students to work to their highest potential - Acknowledge staff for innovative efforts - Recognize staff for exemplary teaching - Build community awareness for the LCM Education Foundation - Inspire parents and the community to participate in enriching education

How donations Are Used:

Donations to this 501(c)3 organization will be used to enhance the education of students in the LCM District by providing grants to educators for innovative projects which are not provided for in the regular school budget. These grants offer additional educational experiences to the programs funded by state and local funds.

Contributions to the LCM Education Foundation are tax-deductible and may be made in a variety of ways:

Race Day Parking Parking at Little Cypress Junior High will be available on race day. Please Park then walk to the start line and be mindful not to block the start/finish line and race day activities taking place at Legacy Park when parking for the event.

RACE BIBS, T- SHIRTS, AND SWAG BAGS MAY BE PICKED UP THE DAY BEFORE THE RACE AT THE LCM ADMINISTRATION BUILDING FROM 9AM-6PM AND DAY OF RACE AFTER 7 AM.
