Support Missaukee County kids by participating in Community Hope's Love Your Neighbor 5K Run/Walk , Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 9 A.M.
This run/walk is open to all ages and is a fun and exciting event benefiting our mentoring and food programs, impacting over 200 children and youth, from Pre-K - 12th grade each week.
Challenge yourself with this paved course that includes hills and curves while enjoying the beauty of northern Michigan around Timber Wolf Lake's beautiful campus! (Sorry, no dogs are allowed on Timber Wolf Lake property).
Entry Fees:
5 yrs. & Under: Free (t-shirt not available) 6-9 yrs. $12 (see registration deadlines below for guaranteed t-shirt). 10 yrs. & Up: Registered by April 30: $30 (guaranteed t-shirt). Registered May 1 - May 8: $35 (t-shirt if available) Race day registration, May 9: $35 payable via cash or check at time of check-in (t-shirt if available)
**Registration Scholarships Available for Students by request to Community Hope at mekoe@communityhopemc.org .
Packet pickup will take place race day morning starting at 8:00 AM.
All participants will receive a finisher medal.
Awards:
The top three female and top three male finishers of the 5K Walk will receive an award plaque. The top three female and top three male finishers of the 5K Run will receive a gift card from an area retailer. The top three female and top three male finishers in each age group of the 5K Run will receive an age-group plaque. Age groups for the 5K Run include: 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75+
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation .
