The mission of the Palm Coast Flagler Health Alliance is to empower, educate, and encourage families in Flagler County to make decisions to live a healthier and cleaner lifestyle.
Join us for the counties first Loving Life Walk-A-Thon bringing families, friends, businesses, and neighbors together to move, connect, and support a healthier community. Loving Life is the motto that the former Founder, Nelson Sastoque lived by. The board members of the Health Alliance chose to call the walk a thon "Loving Life" to honor Nelson's vision.
This event is about more than just walking—it’s about coming together as a county to prioritize health, wellness, and connection. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to walk at their own pace while enjoying fresh air, movement, and the power of community.
Regular movement like walking can improve heart health, boost mood, increase energy, support healthy weight, and reduce stress. By participating in this Walk-A-Thon, you’re taking a simple but powerful step toward improving your own well-being while helping create a culture of health throughout our county.
Form a team with your family, friends, workplace, school, church, or neighborhood group and walk together for a healthier future. Whether you walk one lap or many, every step helps strengthen our community.
Together we can inspire healthier lifestyles, build meaningful connections, and show what happens when a community moves forward—one step at a time.
Come walk with us and be part of something bigger than yourself. Let's embrace the life we have all been given.
How this works
The walk-a-thon officially starts March 28th and ends May 2nd. You have 5 weeks to log as many miles as you can during March 28th and May 2nd. You can walk every day, 3 times a week, however you want to do it. The goal is to be active and move with your team and/or your family. Once you have completed a run or walk you will then be able to log your miles on your account. We suggest doing this once you are done so that ways you do not forget.
