Major Taylor South Carolina SEASON OPENER

YOU KNOW YOU'RE FAMILY IF YOU'RE INVITED TO THE COOKOUT!!! 

It's that time of year again and we're ready to open the season. Come help us kick off our season with a beautiful ride traversing through the back country roads of Hopkins and Eastover, South Carolina. Routes will start and end at the Congaree National Park. Immediately following the ride, we invite you to the cookout with all the key trademarks...good food, good music, and a little something special you don't want to miss! If you've attended our events before you know the HILLS are normally the stars of the show. This year we're shaking things up by offering the flattest routes in Columbia!

We have two route options available with three groups to choose from:

FLAT "FIDDY" (47.65 MILES w/ 801FT of elevation) - this route is for speedsters because it definitely flies!

FLAT "THIRTY" (28.72 MILES w/ 577 FT of elevation) - this route will be broken into a "B" and "C" group.

ALL ROUTES WILL INCLUDE REST STOPS, SAG SUPPORT, AND POLICE ESCORTS HAVE BEEN REQUESTED FOR THE DURATION OF BOTH ROUTES!!

Flat "Fiddy" - Wheels Down 9:00 AM

Flat "Thirty" - Wheels Down 9:30 AM 

 

CHECK-IN: 8:00 AM

All participants must complete a waiver. Please be sure to visit the registration tent and scan the QR code. While we're certainly excited to host you, safety and compliance is a must!
