From the organizer
The Freedom Run is a premiere event at Morgan Hill’s annual Freedom Fest, one of the few all-day Independence Day celebrations in the Bay Area. Start your 4th of July celebration with a morning race that will take you through Morgan Hill’s historic, tree-lined downtown. Then stay for the award-winning parade, the largest privately organized parade in Northern California and the official 4th of July Parade of Santa Clara County.
The Freedom Fest’s annual events also include the Patriotic Sing, Family Street Dance, Freedom Car Cruise and Show, and the spectacular fireworks and entertainment show, Fireworks on the Green. Celebrated in our historic downtown core, the Community and Cultural Center as well as the Outdoor Sports Center, our six events deliver a spectacular, fun-filled, family-friendly celebration every July 4th holiday!
Bib pickup will be Saturday June 27, 2026 from 10am to 2pm in the parking lot of the LDS church at 1790 E. Dunne Ave in Morgan Hill. There will be a second bib pickup day on July 2 or July 3 with time TBA. Bibs can also be picked up the morning of the race from 6:45am-7:30am at 17575 Peak Ave, near the finish line. Visit the race website for more information.
