Celebrate Mother's Day the Runner's Way!

The Mother’s Day event this year is 10K RUN, 5K RUN, and KEIKI RUN in beautiful Moanalua Valley. These events WILL BE OFFICIALLY TIMED THIS YEAR.

The start and finish area uses the Moanalua Community Park and the adjacent Moanalua Gardens. Parking is at the Moanalua Gardens, 2850-A Moanalua Road, Honolulu, https://www.moanaluagardens.com/

The course for the 10K and 5K begins at the Community Park (5K will walk up the street a bit to start at the water station) and enters the Monanalua Gardens to loop around the stately monkeypod trees (including the famous Hitachi monkeypod), then proceeds along a bikepath near the freeway, at the end of which is the 5K turnaround. The 10K continues to a 1.5-mile stretch into the Moanalua valley. Turn around at the Moanalua Valley Neighborhood Park and return along the gentle downhill course. Both the 10K and 5K finish in Moanalua Gardens. The KEIKI FUN RUN is a loop inside the grassy Moanalua Gardens.

All mothers (and potential future mothers) receive a finisher rose!

Post-run refreshments will be available in the gardens. Your race registrations includes an all-day pass to the Gardens, so please feel free to stay and enjoy the setting.

Strollers are welcome. Note, however, that although most of the course is smooth pavement, portions of the bike path are bumpy, and the loop around the Gardens is on grass.

Register online or at the check-in desk on race day.

Early Packet Pick Up will be on Saturday, May 9, 2026, 1-3 pm, Runners HI, at their new location : Pearl Kai, 98-199 Kamehameha Hwy, Suite C-10, Aiea, 96701. https://www.runnershi.net/

Packets may also be picked up on race morning beginning at 5:30 a.m.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available at Moanalua Community Park and at Moanalua Gardens. There are also public restrooms on the 10K course at the Moanalua Valley Neighborhood Park.

After the Race: Results will be available on line in near real time at https://timelinehawaii.com/.

Awards Ceremonies: There will be awards for the top 3 overall male and female finishers as well as the top 3 in each 5-year age group. Awards ceremony will be held at approximately 8:15 a.m.

Mother/Child Teams. Create a Mother/Daughter or Mother/Son team at sign-up. The second team member receives a discounted registration fee! The fastest combined times of mother/child will determine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for teams for the 5K and 10K runs. The mother and child do not need to run together, but they need to be in the same race (5K or 10K).
