NAMIWalks Richland County

Join NAMI Richland County for the second annual NAMIWalks event on Saturday, May 30, 2026! Whether you know someone fighting depression & anxiety or walk in remembrance of a loved one, come and join our efforts in fighting stigma surrounding mental health and support the community's grass roots nonprofit organization, NAMI Richland County, in their effort to grow education, support, and advocacy!

There are 3-ways to participate in this experience:

1. Free family fun-day event for all at the Ontario Marshal Park. Bring the whole family for a day of fun with a bounce house, face painting, balloon art, yard games, food trucks, a DJ and more!

2. Free sign-up for the 1-mile fun walk. The 1-mile walk does not include a bib, nor a shirt - REGISTER FOR THE FREE 1-MILE WALK at www.namiwalks.org/richlandcounty . You are not required to help us fundraise, but we encourage any support you're able to provide whether that be monetary, volunteering, or word of mouth. Individuals who raise $100 will earn an official NAMIWalks t-shirt.  More incentives given to higher dollars raised. Please see namirc.org for the prize sheet.

3. Early registration is $30 until April for the 5K race. 5K Registrants will receive a race bib, 5k t-shirt designed by a local student, and swag bag.  Registrants will automatically be enrolled in the NAMIWalks fundraising site. Participants who raise $100 will earn an official NAMIWalks t-shirt in addition to the 5K shirt. More incentives given to higher dollars raised. Please see namirc.org for the prize sheet

Shirts: For our 5K we offer Adults X-Small to 3X-Large & no shirt option for $5 discount.   There is no guarantee for a t-shirt with registration after April 15th.  Limited shirts will be available at the event!

For our 1-mile fun run and 5k!  All registrants have the option of receiving an official NAMIWalks t-shirt when they raise $100!

Medals: Each 5K participant will receive a medal!

Schedule: Friday, May 29: Ontario Marshall Park Pavilion by the Splash Pad 3:00-7:00 PM - Pre-Packet Pickup

Saturday, May 30: 8:00 AM - Registration Packet Pick-up 8:30 AM - Opening & Speakers 9:00 AM - Fun Walk & 5k Begins 9:30 AM - Family Fun Day is Open to the Public 12:00 PM - Event Concludes

Awards: 5K: -Top 3 Overall Male & Female -Top 3 Male & Female in the following Age Groups 14-Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-Over
