Paladin Pacer 5K Trail Race

The 8th Annual Paladin Pacer is a fun-filled race that combines a variety of running surfaces including pavement, dirt trails, grass, and hills, set against the beautiful backdrop of Pinecrest Academy's 68-acre campus. Here are some key highlights of the race:

Scenic Course: Expect lush foliage and diverse terrains, making for a picturesque and engaging run. Variety of Surfaces: The course includes a mix of pavement, scenic dirt trails, grass, and hills, providing a challenging and fun experience. 1 Mile Kids Run: This race features three laps around the school driveway, allowing parents to cheer on their children throughout the event. Last year we had 150 kids participate -- one of the biggest fun runs in the state! Community Participation: The event attracts athletes, teachers, missionaries, and neighbors, fostering a strong sense of community. Supportive Atmosphere: Pinecrest cheerleaders and volunteers will be stationed along the course to provide encouragement and support to all participants. Fun > Fast: While the course might not be ideal for setting personal records due to its varied terrain, it's designed to be one of the most enjoyable races in the area. Growing Tradition: The Paladin Pacer is becoming a favorite tradition in Forsyth County, known for its friendly competition and community spirit. Whether you're aiming to run competitively or simply enjoy a walk with friends and family, the Paladin Pacer offers a memorable experience for all. Now: Registration open at early bird pricing! Saturday, September 5 - price increase Friday, September 18, 3:00-4:30 pm - Optional pre-race packet pickup at Pinecrest Academy Upper School Gym Atrium Saturday, September 19, 7:00 am - Race day registration and packet pick-up at Pinecrest Academy Lower School Gym 8:00 am - 1 Mile kids run start 8:30 am - 5K trail run/walk start

NOTE the 5K is a TRAIL race, so be ready for some off-roading and watch your footing!

Arrive early on race day! Parking details will be sent the week of September 14th.

SWAG: All participants receive a finishers medal! Special awards for overall male/female and top 3 male/female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over. All 1 Mile runners will also receive a finishers medal.

All participants registered by Friday, September 4th, will be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Registrations on or after Saturday, September 5th, are subject to availability of shirts sizes and are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
