Pawtuxet River 5k: Run of the Mills!

Please join us Saturday, November 7, for a family-friendly 5k run or walk along the Pawtuxet River! Featuring 3 trestle bridges along the Coventry Greenway, a rail trail known as the Washington-Secondary bike path, enjoy views of the river, two majestic mills, and a jog through Anthony Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.

All proceeds benefit the Pawtuxet River Authority and Watershed Council, which has been protecting, conserving, and restoring the Pawtuxet River and its watershed for over 50 years! We are a 100% volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving Cranston, Coventry, Scituate, Warwick, and West Warwick. Our mission is to enhance water quality and wildlife habitats, create opportunities for public passive recreation, and promote the environmental, cultural, and historic significance of the Pawtuxet River and its watershed.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

Bib pick up will take place from 7am to 7:45am at the Middle School Runners will walk to the start on Knotty Oak Road near Rice Field Race will start promptly at 8am Race will FINISH at the Middle School Awards for Top 3 Overall Finishers in Male/Open and Female categories: 1st Place - $100 2nd Place - $75 3rd Place - $50
