From the organizer
Join us for a 5K run/walk organized by the Milton High School XC team and Alpha Crush Running Club to benefit the Pedal Forward Foundation and Stella Love Nonprofit. Challenge yourself with the unique opportunity to run on the Milton HS Cross Country trail (2024 5A State Champions)! All proceeds will be donated to these charities to benefit local children and families in need.
The Pedal Forward Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering financially underprivileged youth by providing them with opportunities to learn how to ride bicycles at no cost. We believe that the lack of a bike or helmet should not be a barrier to learning this essential skill, so we strive to donate bikes and helmets to kids unable to afford their own.
Stella Love Nonprofit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Roswell. We are a nonprofit that focuses on food insecurity for homeless or low- and no-income members of the community, as well as various initiatives to support the children of such families. We operate a food pantry that serves hundreds of families in the community a week, as well as bimonthly events where we provide homeless individuals in Woodruff Park with a hot meal, hot coffee, hygiene kits and warm clothing. We also hold quarterly farmer's market events where we give out tens of thousands of produce to the community.
At packet pickup, runners will receive a free t-shirt. Overall and Age-Group awards will be given.
A water station will be available along the course.
*No strollers allowed on course
* Well-behaved dogs ON LEASHES are OK
