The course

Come join us for our second annual Race for a Legacy 5K to support a great cause! The event takes place on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, at Louisville High School.

- Registration includes a participant t-shirt!

- We will have a DJ, some first responder vehicles, and student groups to provide fun and activities before and after the race.

- The race starts in a neighborhood, takes participants on a paved trail, and ends in the school parking lot.

By participating in this 5K you will be donating directly to Legacy of Honor.

Legacy of Honor is a 501 c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to serve those who serve us in our community. The focus is to serve, support, and help first responders, active military, veterans and their families. Legacy of Honor has 3 pillars that it focuses on. Operation Bootstrap, Operation RAK (Random Acts of Kindness), and being a Community Event Partner. Legacy of Honor's main focus in 2025-2026 is supporting our local hero's mental health.

The race starts/finishes at Louisville High School. The 5K is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

Race day registration and packet pick-up take place from 8:00am-8:45am.

The 5K run/walk begins at 9:00am.
