Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful invites you to join our 1st annual 5 k to raise funds vital to continue to enrich our community with recycling on various levels. We offer three collection facilities and have several programs that include medication collection, clothing drive and shred it day.

The 2026 Run & Walk event is Saturday, September 19th and includes both a timed 5 K and a fun walk around the park. We will of course have some music to motivate your body for this run, and fabulous giveaways including an event shirt!  Onsite registration is not available this year. Please register early!!  No refunds as all the money goes to the many programs that Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful has!  Ages 1-14 are free!  Make this a fun family event!
