Ranch Run Half Marathon, 5K, 1 mile fun run - 10th Annual

Join us for our 10th annual race this June! Get off the pavement and come explore the Big Sky on this county road race on the Geyser Cutoff Road between Geraldine and Geyser, Montana. Explore the hidden treasures in your own back yard as you run through the hills and onto the prairie finishing the race on Main Street, Geraldine, Montana!!

The half marathon & 5k races feature beautiful, Central Montana scenery! The 5K run/walk is a gradual descent into town featuring Square Butte and Round Butte mountains; whereas, the half marathon course will traverse the foothills between the Highwood Mountains and Round Butte as you make your way across the hills descending into town. The race is on a gravel, country road so strollers with big tires are recommended. Keep your eyes out - as you travel across the country look for wildlife including deer, antelope, elk, coyotes, cows and maybe snakes!  Our 1 mile fun run loops around town and has a glimpse of the butte and nearly a full tour of town.

We will have post-race craft beer & ice cream along with food vendors during and following the race. Enjoy the day with all of those attending the Geraldine Fun Day!

Registration sign in and packet pick up :  half marathon: 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.  5K: 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

Bus departure:     (Fresh Start Co-Op Grocery Store)

Half Marathon at 7:30 a.m.

5K at 8:30 a.m.

Race Time:

Half Marathon @ 8:15 a.m.

5K @ 9:00 a.m.

1 mile Fun Run @ 10:45

Race Shirts: Sign up by June 6th   to guarantee a shirt on race day or arrange to pick it up from Kalyn at a later date (no mail delivery for late sign up) .

Awards: 1st -3rd place finishers in Youth (12 under), Junior (13-18) and Adult (19+) divisions for the 5K and Half Marathon.

*If you are already signed up to run a race (5k / Half) and then would like to run the Fun Run with your child(ren) or others - please do not sign up a second time. Only sign up the new runners and select a shirt for them ONLY . Shirts to participants only.
