Resolved: Let's race a 5K! is a community-wide event bringing people together in support of the mission of WHS Speech & Debate. This in-person and virtual 5K unites the Sioux Falls metro area, the broader speech and debate community, local runners, and Warrior Nation around a shared belief that student voices matter .
This is an inclusive event - run or walk, we are ready to support you!
Through speech and debate, students learn to find their voices, deepen their understanding of the world, explore multiple perspectives on today’s critical issues, and grow into confident, informed, and empowered young leaders.
By participating in this event, community members help ensure that students continue to have access to meaningful opportunities that foster critical thinking, civic engagement, and respectful dialogue.
