Weather snapshot (AI-assisted text)
Late March in Decatur, Alabama, typically brings mild spring weather, which is often ideal for running. Temperatures could range from cool mornings to comfortably warm afternoons. While generally pleasant, spring can be unpredictable, so be prepared for anything from a crisp, sunny day to a chance of rain.
Terrain & course feel (AI-assisted text)
The courses are explicitly described as "flat and fast," primarily run on paved surfaces. Expect quiet residential streets for part of the 10K and perimeter roads around a park and golf course, which hug the Tennessee River.
