This heartfelt event serves as a fundraiser for the Roxanne Pickrell Memorial Fund, dedicated to supporting local non-profits in the community. Join for a fun experience with a 5K, a 1-mile race, and a Kid's Dash, all starting and finishing at the Smother's Park Overlook Stage in Downtown Owensboro. Proceeds from the 5K will benefit the Owensboro Fire Department, Hose Handlers.

From the organizer
Come join the fun! This is the 4th Run for Foxy Roxie 5k. It's a memorial race for Roxanne Pickrell ("Foxy Roxie"), the late daughter of Jason and Cathy Pickrell. Roxie passed in 2019, at age 13, after a brief battle with brain cancer. This race is a way to honor her memory and give back to our community through her non-profit, the Roxanne Pickrell Memorial Fund. Our mission is to #supportacause. We fundraise to donate to our LOCAL non-profits! It's a fun event with cool t-shirts and awards! This year we will be in a new location. It will start and finish in Downtown Owensboro at Smother's Park Overlook Stage. A part of the race will take you down Frederica Street. We have also added a 1 mile race and a Kid's Dash!
Proceeds from this year's 5k will support the Owensboro Fire Department, Hose Handlers in the upcoming Puzzle Pieces Lip Sync Battle.
