Run for Refugees 5k

World Relief Durham serves refugees and other immigrants who have settled in the U.S. through a variety of programs. Durham has long supported newcomers and their families through annual events like Durham Refugee Day, held every June.

Join us for WRD's 3rd Run for Refugees 5K on August 22, 2026! We hope to welcome WRD supporters and new friends into a community of like-minded people and celebrate the rich diversity of backgrounds in our area.

This year we are excited to announce that we are partnering with small businesses and vendors at the 5k to bring some additional life to the overall event. More details will come out closer to the date of the race.

Registration Children age 5 and under can participate with an adult for free (no t-shirt or timing included) - no registration required $20 - Children Registration (under 18), T-shirt & professional timing included $30 - Adult Registration, T-shirt & professional timing included *Register by July 31 to receive a shirt.
