🧡 Why We Run
This event honors the life and legacy of Antonio “Tactical Tone” Ortiz while raising awareness of renal medullary carcinoma (RMC) — a rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer that primarily affects young individuals. At just 24 years old, Antonio was strong, active, and full of life. He loved cooking, the outdoors, and always showed up for others.
After losing him to RMC, we made a commitment to ensure his legacy continues to create impact. Through this event, we hope to bring people together in support, remembrance, awareness, and action.
Proceeds from this event will directly support the Tactical Tone Memorial Foundation’s mission — raising awareness of renal medullary carcinoma, supporting individuals and families impacted by RMC, and helping fund future programs, outreach, and research efforts in Antonio’s memory.
🌳 The Course
