The course

From the organizer

Neuroworx is an outpatient rehabilitation clinic for persons who have suffered a spinal cord injury, brain injury, or other life altering neurological disorder/disease. The purpose of the Run, Ride, Roll  event is to allow an inclusive space for our past and current patients as well as others in our community to work toward a goal and participate in an event in a wheelchair, adaptive bike, or walking/running.  Funds raised by participation will go directly toward providing funds for our grant fund ( S upporting O pportunities for A daptive R ecreation Grant) to provide adaptive equipment to those wishing to get back outside after a life altering injury/ diagnosis.

The event will begin and end at the Dr. O. Roi Hardy Park. This will be a 5K event with the course entirely on the Jordan River Trail. The course will be a circle format and cross over two bridges. It will first head North on the East side of the trail and will cross over a bridge to come back South on the West side of the trail.

There will also be a 1 mile event offered for those who would like to participate but aren't ready for a full 5K. The 1 mile is an out-and-back format on the West side of the Jordan River Trail.
