Welcome to the NEW Run 2 Read 2 Miler Run through beautiful Fairmont, West Virginia and relax afterwards with your family at the 12th street pool for swimming, food, and fun - included in the registration! Registration at 5:00pm and race starts at 6:00pm.

Run 2 Read t-shirts will be available for runners registered before 7/10/2026. Possible extras available on race day. Overall awards top 3 females & top 3 males as well as top 3 in each age group (0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79). Course Map <- Click - Start line near East-West Stadium. Rolling course through residential neighborhoods of Fairmont's west side. Finish line in front of 12th Street Pool entrance. One water stop at halfway point at 1 mile as well as finish line refreshments. Bathrooms available at the pool. Sorry no registration refund for any reason including weather. This Race is sponsored by The Marion County Running and Walking Club, a portion of proceeds will be donated to benefit Literacy Volunteers of Marion County , a United Way agency and a 501(c)(3) entity and the Marion County Running and Walking Club. LVMC provides free tutoring to adults and children in basic reading, math, ESL (English as a second language), & GED preparation. LVMC is accredited by Pro Literacy Worldwide.
