Get outdoors for S'more Fun!

Come join our 4th annual run on April 18, 2026!  Whether you run or walk the 5K or the mile, we invite you to connect with friends and family to head outdoors for a fun and cool race and enjoy some s'mores on race day!  Register early to secure your early bird discount and guarantee your S'more Run shirt!

Our Mission

Camp Rio Blanco Circle of Friends stewards Camp Rio Blanco as a place where people of all ages can unplug, explore, and come together. This local camp now welcomes families, youth organizations, schools, churches, and community groups from across West Texas and the South Plains, expanding access to the land and experiences that have made Camp Rio Blanco special for generations. Immediate needs:

Camp flatbed trailer, archery equipment, 12ft. A-frame ladder for Challenge Course, Challenge Course equipment, microwave ovens for unit houses

Race Info

• Check-in begins at 8:00am.  Race starts at 9:00am.
• Timed results of the 5K will be available immediately after the race.
• The event is fully accessible.
• Get registered early!  S'more Run shirts are guaranteed with registration by March 15, 2026.
• Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers of the 5K and 1 mile runs upon completion of the race. 
• Participants will receive a swag bag of goodies! * Please note that all giveaways are available while supplies last.

Weather Info

• The race will take place come rain or shine; and remember to dress for the weather!
