FIRE CHIEF DARIN J. SABINE
Newington Fire Chief Darin Sabine was born on August 4, 1984 in Newington, NH and his last alarm was on September 7, 2019 after a 2-year battle with colon cancer.
Chief Sabine was diagnosed in early 2017 with Stage 4 colon cancer. He had spent much of his short time here on earth either with family or at the fire station. He was dedicated to his family and brotherhood. He fought hard to spend as much time as he could with his wife and 2 little girls.
Our hope with this run is that we will keep Chief Sabine’s memory alive and raise funds to support first responders and their families who have been affected by cancer or other life-threatening illnesses or injuries. The race length of 3.3 miles is in honor of Newington Fire Department 33.

The mission of Sabine Strong Foundation 33 is to raise funds to help support first responders and their families affected by cancer or other life-threatening illnesses or injuries.
The Sabine Strong Foundation 33 is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under EIN #86-1644745.
