Saturday In The Park is a 5K race and 1 mile Fun Run open to the public and is sponsored by Run4Fun. The 5K course is through the lovely Independence Riverside Park and adjoining street while the fun run is within the park complex. There will be finisher medals and snacks at the finish line. Top finishers will be recognized.
We welcome runners of all ages! Between the 5K and fun run, our event includes a fifty yard Tot-trot for children 5 and under. No registration is required for the Tot-trot. Each tot receives a medal for finishing. There will be games and other activities for kids, weather permitting.
See you Saturday In The Park on May 9, 2026 at 8:30. Registration is open until race day from 7:30-8 am. Packet pick-up at the Oval just look for the Carousel.
