The Columbia Gorge Running Club invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to embark on the 16th annual Ridge Run 10-Miler. This point-to-point race goes up and over the scenic ridge between the towns of Carson and Stevenson, WA. It's a stout climb in both directions - so much so that Backwoods Brewing (in Carson) named a delicious oatmeal stout after this event.
Where: The 2026 event starts at the Fairgrounds in Stevenson and ends at Backwoods in Carson. This is a point-to-point race, so you can either park at the Backwoods Cabins in Carson and carpool to the start in Stevenson, or find a ride back to the start after finishing. There is not a shuttle to the start (or finish), so you will need to coordinate your own ride. It is highly recommended that you meet at the Backwoods Cabins in Carson (there is a large parking area just past the pub across Wind River Hwy that will have a parking sign) at 8am and carpool from there to the start.
