Students of Scriptures 5K - Race of Champions

Come join The Students of Scripture Race Team for what will be the most competitive, most enjoyable 5K race of the year!

You won’t believe our  award listing and our post-race party is one you won’t want to miss!

The race will be held on a flat 3.1 miles (5K) course with partial shade during beautiful South Florida December weather.

This is a fast course, and we expect we will have many personal records broken!  A lead vehicle will record the race leader and broadcast live to Facebook, Instagram and to a giant monitor at the finish line area.

We will have a warm, friendly atmosphere that is welcoming for everyone!  Bring your friends, families (including your furry friends) and your co-workers too!

Awards will be given for 50 different categories.

Please be sure to select the right category when registering.

It includes Senior Grandmasters, Grandmasters, Masters, Athena, Clydesdale, Running with Dog, Running with Stroller, Husband and Wife and our unique Shopping Cart Race.

Also, a special award for the Miss and Mister Race of Champions 2026.

A U$ 3,250.00 Money Price will be shared with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female Overall, Senior Grandmasters, Grandmasters, and Masters.

Another U$ 200.00 Money Prize will be shared for the new event record in the male and female categories. Female Record (Hiruni Wijayaratne - 16:52.67) / Male Record (Osman Humeida - 14:26.89)

A Second Trophy and T-Shirt Personalized will Award for the Female and Male Overall

We also will announce and award the 2026 Students of Scriptures Male and female Athletes of the year.

Shopping Cart Race Info:

Rules:

12  Equal Shopping Cart race 200 meters relay (50 meters for each runner)

The Shopping Cart Race is a Male or Female four-runner team

The Team Captain should decide the sequence of the runners)

The first / second / third places of both category will take home the groceries inside their shopping cart plus the trophies for their right award position. The other 6 shopping carts left will be donated to the institution shown in the tag on the front of the shopping cart winner.

Only 12 teams, registration is first come first serve.
