Summer Speed Fest

Join us on the track to test your speed and abilities!

Whether you're chasing a new personal best or lacing up for your very first mile, Summer Speed Fest is the perfect way to test some of that summer speed training or your current fitness level.  We're bringing the excitement of the track back to the community — no experience required.

This isn't your typical race. It's a laid-back, summer evening under the lights where runners of all levels come together to move, cheer, and connect. New to running? We’ve got a spot for you. Been chasing PRs since high school? Let’s see what you’ve got.

We’re here to grow the love of track in our town — and we want you to be part of it. Grab your friends, your old racing flats, or just your curiosity, and meet us on the oval. We will have some giveaways, prizes $$, and light refreshments available!

Let’s make this the start of something fast, fun, and totally fresh. We’ll see you under the sunset.

EVENT SCHEDULE :  6:00 PM Start ; schedule subject to change PRIOR to event; participants would be notified.

-Invitational 5,000m Race **

-400m Dash

-1 Mile

-4x400m Relay : Bring your baton item of choice :) 4 people required for each relay, only ONE person needs to sign up! Mixed or single gender team option- please specify when signing up!

While each athlete will receive a giveaway for running an event, prizes will also be given for :

> 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Overall/Open Division and Masters divisions in the 400m dash and 1 mile race. <

>1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Overall Prizes for the Invitational 5,000m Race. <

**The Invitational 5,000m Race is for those looking to race for their fastest time! You will be required to provide proof of a 5k time under 19:00 or a comparable distance verifying time. There will be 1 heat and capped at 18 runners. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU MEET THIS CRITERIA. Otherwise you will be denied entry once registered and can use entry to run an alternative event. Let's Race!!
