Supporting Texas's Future Military Officers

Lace up your running shoes and answer the call to serve! Join us for the Lone Star 5K Virtual Race, a fundraising event dedicated to supporting the next generation of military leaders from Texas-based Officer Candidate program.

This is your chance to show your support for the dedicated men and women who have committed to leading our nation's finest. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just want to walk for a great cause, you can participate from anywhere in the world. Complete your 5K on a local trail, in your neighborhood, or even on a treadmill between 01 February 2026 and 05 April 2026. Every step you take helps equip these future officers for the challenges of military leadership.

Your participation directly helps:

• Provide essential training resources and gear for Officer Candidates.
• Support candidates as they endure the mental and physical rigors of Officer Candidate School (OCS).
• Show our unified appreciation for their commitment to serving our country.

  Stay salty! All participants will be provided with products from our partner, LMNT, to help you refuel and rehydrate.

How It Works

1. Register: Sign up online by 30 March 2026.
2. Run/Walk: Complete your 5K (3.1 miles) anytime, anywhere, between 01 February 2026 and 05 April 2026.
3. Share: Post your photos and race times on social media using our official hashtag: #LoneStar5K.
4. Support: Feel proud knowing you've supported the future leadership of the U.S. Armed Forces!
