The Attic SuperHero Run

Dress up as your favorite SUPERHERO and help us celebrate all the heroes of our community who help with the foster crisis. Race Beneficiary: The Attic Resource Center, a program of One Accord for Kids, helps children in our local foster system every day.  We provide resources including beds, car seats, clothing, diapers, and school supplies for vulnerable children and families in our community. In the Permian Basin, almost 90% of children placed in foster care will be moved away from their home county because of a lack of foster homes.  The needs are great, and The Attic is working to engage the community with the crisis. In 2025, The Attic provided services for 1477 children in the Permian Basin.  We expect that number to be even greater in 2026. RACE PERKS:   All participants of the 5K and 10K who register by August 17, 2025 will receive a SuperHero Run Shirt and other goodies! SHIRTS NOT GUARANTEED FOR REGISTRATIONS AFTER 8/17/2025. AWARDS: For Male & Female 5K & 10K-Top 3 in Age Groups- 12 & Under 13-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60+ Chip Timing Required for Awards REGISTRATION: 10K-$45 5K-$35 1K-$25 START TIME: September 19, 2025     8:00 a. m. All events start and finish at: First Baptist Church Midland (Cuthbert Parking Lot) 2104 W. Louisiana Midland, TX 79701 AID STATIONS:  We will have one aid station on the 5K route and 2 on the 10K.  Water will be available at the start & finish line as well. PACKET PICK UP: Runners can pick up their packets at these locations: Friday, September 18 10:00pm-5:00pm Midland Athletic Company-3326 N Midkiff Rd Midland TX 79705 Saturday, September 19 7:15 a. m. -7:45 a. m. at the race location PARKING: Please use the other First Baptist Church parking lots for parking. Local leash laws apply. Refunds not given if race is canceled due to inclement weather
