The Big Chief Mile has a proven legacy of fast times and unforgettable finishes:
💨 2014 crowned a blazing 4:05.2 men’s champion 👟 2015 delivered the fastest women’s mile in event history at 4:53.4 🏁 2016 saw absolute chaos up front — the top 5 men separated by less than 5 seconds, while the top 3 women all dipped under 5:03 Now in 2026, we return to the Fishweir Brewing venue with a fast, spectator-friendly course built for bold racing and new records. Flat, quick, and electric — this is a mile designed to fly.
