Little Pub's Miles for Margaritas 5k

WE ABSOLUTELY SOLD OUT EARLY IN '25!

Our town permit is based on parking, narrow streets, and our margarita bags.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND YOUR SUPPORT.

You can run or walk the "chip timed" 3.11 mile/5k event OR walk/saunter the

UNTIMED Margarita Mile option. All abilities are welcome.

EVERYONE 21 & over is eligible for a terrific margarita after their finish.

(N/a margaritas, other N/a fluids & soft drinks also available).

NOTE START TIME @ 9:00 am

Both courses are along the scenic seaside neighborhood of Lordship, in Stratford. All participants in both events will receive the same 'swag' of t-shirt and more.

The 5k timed distance participants are eligible for awards & prizes (see below).

The untimed walk does not include any awards.

This event follows all state guidelines and health department mandates.

WE WILL LIMIT THIS TO 250 TOTAL PARTICIPANTS- DON'T WAIT!

EVENT INFORMATION

The 5k Run/Walk is a bib, chip-timed event. You will receive your ‘net’ time.

A specially designed T-Shirt size will be guaranteed to entrants registered by midnight April 19.

After that it's "as available" so don't delay!

Snacks, fruit, refreshments and fluids after you are done.

MARGARITAS for ages 21 and above only . ID NEEDED!

We will also be serving the award winning Athletic Brew, non alcoholic craft brew.

Parking is available in both lots of the Little Pub, along Washington Pkwy, side streets and along the seawall.

PLEASE arrive early and try to carpool . This residential area along the seawall fills up early with non-event cars.

First place M & F champions in the 5K receive $25 gift cards of each.

First place age group awards 19 & over receive LITTLE PUB $10 GIFT CARDS.

18 & under receive medals.

2nd & 3rd place age group receive medals

Age groups- 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

$27 all ages - one mile untimed walk only

April 6 - April 26    $38 FOR THE 5K  we are sold out.

$32 FOR THE ONE MILE WALK

April 27 - May 3     $40 / $35 if we are not sold out .

COURSE DETAILS great water views, 95.6% flat, and quiet roads. The course is a measured 5k (3.11 mi)

Roads are OPEN - you'll need to run/walk safely ON THE LEFT, FACING TRAFFIC and be aware at all times

THERE MAY NOT BE A WATER TABLE ON THE COURSE. Carry your own fluids if needed.

* PLEASE DO  NOT use ear-pods of any type so you can hear any warnings & instructions on the road.

APRIL 19 Registration deadline for guaranteed shirt size. After that 'as available' - we could run out

SATURDAY May 2  8:30-11am sharp! BIB & SWAG pickup at Little Pub Not a minute before nor after. We are outside if nice, inside if not.

Pickup in the lot on Washington Parkway across the street from the Little Pub.

SUNDAY May 3  7:30- 8:59 am  Bib & swag pickup at the lot across the street from the Little Pub.

SHINE OR RAIN !

8:40 am FREE Kids Fun Run Directed by Donna  Cramond!  (9 & younger only please)

9:00  am   START 5K RUN & 1 mile WALK

9:15 am   Post-event snacks & bottled water, AND  MARGARITAS (21 and over only)

9:45 am   Awards will be distributed

SAFETY MODIFICATIONS

Thanks to the many Departments of Stratford we will be able to present this outdoor event.

Safe distances and safety protocols will be in place, and State/Town guidelines will be met.

With fixed costs and pre-payment of many items it means we CANNOT REFUND any registration fees .

Whether we are live or virtual our commitment to our charity will be maintained.

We hope you can support this commitment and join us.

RACE DATA - We will be using a chip-timed start FOR THE 5k EVENT ONLY.

WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR A SAFE START - If you are truly at a speedy running level

(6-7min pace per mile or under) we urge you to be at the start early and ready to go at the front 8:55 am.

This will avoid crowding on the course and help everyone to run more safely. Thanks!

ON THE COURSE -

We ask you to stay safe and  run /walk on the left side, facing traffic for safety, and not run in groups.

THE ONE MILE WALK ONLY is an UNTIMED EVENT - We ask you to keep a safe distance and

please let any runners pass safely by staying to the left side of the roads on this course as much as possible.
