Join Us for the Trail Day 5K Run & Walk!
Get ready to hit the trail for a fun and family-friendly event! The Trail Day 5K Run & Walk takes place on Saturday, May 2nd, in celebration of National Celebrate Trails Day at the stunning Prickett’s Fort State Park along the MCPARC rail trail. Starting at 9 AM, the scenic course will take runners and walkers towards the Meredith Tunnel, offering a beautiful and enjoyable experience for all.
This exciting event is hosted by the Fairmont State University Cycling Club to support their activities and is conducted in partnership with Marion County Parks and Recreation. Plus, it’s a part of the 2026 Marion County Race Series—so don’t miss your chance to be part of something special!
Whether you're a seasoned runner looking for a fast course, a casual walker, or just looking for a great way to enjoy the outdoors, this event is for all ages and abilities. Gather your friends and family, lace up your sneakers, and join us as we celebrate our amazing local trails! The first 65 Runners to register will get an official Trail Day 5K Beanie!
