The Triad GO FAR Community 5K & Fun Run Presented by Novant Health is more than just a race — it’s the exciting finale to an eight-week journey where children and families come together to celebrate health, confidence, and community.
Each spring, children from 40+ Triad schools and community clubs train with GO FAR to build endurance, learn healthy habits, and grow in positive character traits like perseverance, teamwork, and courage. Race day is their moment to shine — and you’ll feel the pride from start to finish.
Whether your child is taking on the full 5K or joining the fun in the one-mile Fun Run, this is an unforgettable experience designed especially for kids and families. From spirited cheer squads to a festive downtown atmosphere, the Triad GO FAR 5K is a race event like no other.
