Tuscarawas County YMCA Turkey Trot

This will be the Tuscarawas County YMCA's 55th Turkey Trot!  The event is held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM located at the Tuscarawas County YMCA, 600 Monroe St, Dover, OH 44622. Everyone is welcome to register and participate in this fun, family-friendly race whether you're a serious runner, walker, family with strollers and dogs, or are just looking to start your Thanksgiving off right! Our participants ages range from babies all the way to runners in their 90's!

Awards are given to the top 3 overall female and male finishers and the top 3 in each age group. Special awards for best spirit, costume, oldest and youngest runners and best pet costume will also be given at the race.

T-Shirts: We offer Youth Small to Large, Adult Small to 3X-Large, or No Shirt option.   Please register by November 1 to guarantee a race shirt!

Proceeds: All proceeds from the Turkey Trot provide direct financial assistance to kids and families in our community through the Y's Annual Campaign, ensuring everyone has the opportunity for a Y membership, program participation, life saving swim lessons, preschool, afterschool care, summer camp, youth sports and so much more.

The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Thursday, November 26 = Race Day 6:30-8:00 AM - Packet Pickup 8:45am - Pre-race Announcements and Spirit Awards 9:00am - Race Start 9:30am - Awards Pickup

Awards: Top 3 Overall Men & Women Top 3 Men & Women in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & Over Top 1 in Best Spirit, Costume, Oldest, and Youngest Runners Top 1 in Best Pet Costume
