19th Annual Tybee Turtle Trot 5K Beach Run

Early Bird Registration (January 28 - February 28): $35/person

Regular Registration (March 1 - April 23): $45/person

Virtual Registration (March 1 - April 25): $45/person includes shirt and medal

Location: 37 Meddin Dr. Tybee Island, GA 31328 - North Beach at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center - on the beach by the boardwalk next to the science center

Details: Your registration supports our resident sea turtles and our Tybee Sea Turtle Project. This year we are raising money for a beach utility vehicle to advance our response for nesting and injured sea turtles!

The Tybee Sea Turtle Project is a conservation project permitted through the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to monitor and protect sea turtles on Tybee Island. The project team locates and protects sea turtle nests on the island. The science center's resident sea turtles serve as Marine Debris Ambassadors during their three year stay. While growing strong and healthy, our current resident sea turtles, Westie and Ossie, educate visitors on the impacts affecting sea turtle populations and our conservation efforts to protect them.

Deadline for a guaranteed runner shirt is April 6th . Become a sea turtle supporter and register for the Turtle Trot today!

Registration includes runner shirt , a medal, and free admission on race day.

Trot Day: 9:00 AM beach run

- The start and finish line is on the beach by the boardwalk next to the science center

- After the race, head to the science center for water/snacks, medals, run times, and free admission to the science center
