Ugly Sweater Green & Grinchy 5k & Merry Mile

Bundle up in your brightest, tackiest, and most wonderfully outrageous holiday sweaters or holiday costume for the Ugly Sweater Green & Grinchy 5K and Merry Mile at Legacy Park in Norman on December 12th at 4 PM! This festive winter run brings together all the cozy charm of the season with a mischievous splash of Grinch‑y green fun. Runners and walkers of all ages will wind through the course filled with laughter, and spirited surprises. After you cross the finish, stick around as we count down together to the moment the park lights up for the holidays — a perfect way to kick off the season! Norman Race Series awards will be presented at this event for all participants who completed every race in the series. This race's charity partner will be added soon. Runners will enjoy this flat and fast certified 5k course. All participants will receive: ✔️ A fun custom medal ✔️ Custom race bib (with timing tag for 5k participants) ✔️ Grinchy fun for the whole family! ✔️ Race shirts are a $15 add-on and for adults and youth. Any remaining shirts will be sold at the race while supplies and sizes last. Norman Race Series awards will be given at this race for participants that signed up for all races in the series! PACKET PICKUP: Kick off race week with us for all races in the series at Beanstalk Coffee & Sno (3408 36th Ave NW, Norman) for pre‑race packet pickup! Keep an eye on the race website and your email for full current details as we get closer - and definitely treat yourself to something tasty while you’re there. 🍵🍧

Race‑day pickup will also be available on site starting one hour before the race, but we strongly encourage everyone to grab packets early prior to race day, to skip race day lines and head to the start line on time.
