About the Vero Beach Air Show
Mission Statement
The Vero Beach Airshow celebrates aviation, honors our military and veterans, and inspires future generations through engaging community events.
Make an Impact on Our Community
The roar of engines, the gasp of the crowd, the brilliant flash of blue and gold against the Florida sky – these are the sights and sounds that define a legacy. In 2014, a new chapter in our community's history was written as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron graced our skies for the very first time. An overwhelming welcome from over 50,000 spectators ignited a passion for aviation excellence, setting the stage for what has become the largest and most anticipated event in Indian River County.
This tradition of excellence was officially recognized in December 2024 when the Blue Angels bestowed upon the Vero Beach Air Show the distinguished honor of "Civilian Air Show of the Year." This prestigious award is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our volunteers, the generous support of our sponsors, and the incredible spirit of our community. It is a shared victory for every individual who has contributed to the success of this remarkable event.
The story of our partnership with the elite of naval aviation continues. We are thrilled to announce that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will once again return to the skies of Vero Beach on May 16-17, 2026. This special performance will be a cornerstone of our region's celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States of America, a fitting tribute to our nation's history and enduring spirit.
The impact of the Vero Beach Air Show extends far beyond the awe-inspiring aerial displays. Over the years, this event has served as a powerful engine for community support, contributing more than $250,000 to local charities and organizations. Furthermore, it has generated a significant economic impact of over $6 million, bolstering local businesses and showcasing our hometown to a national audience.
Join us as we continue to build this incredible legacy. The return of the Blue Angels in 2026 is more than just an airshow; it is a celebration of community, a testament to our shared achievements, and an inspiration for future generations. Let us come together once again to create an unforgettable experience that will resonate long after the jets have departed.
