The Vineland Youth Running Club (VYRC) is for children in the Greater Vineland Area ages 7-14 interested in recreational and competitive running.

No experience is necessary, but like any sport, your child must be willing to listen, learn, and commit to putting in the work required to develop the proper skills. The mile is our chosen benchmark for progress and we believe that if a kid can get to the point of being able to run 1 mile consistently and comfortably, they can progress relatively quickly from there in both speed and endurance if they choose to. Starting with the very first day of club and every day after that, your child will run/walk at least a mile (excluding meets). Practices will be on Monday and Wednesday nights 5:30-6:30 pm , along with 5 meets in place of practice on Wednesday nights. Information on additional competitive events will be provided as we learn more.
