Welcome to the Virtual Fitness Group #VFGSTRONG Annual Virtual 5K Series.
This is a veteran-led virtual fitness and peer accountability initiative built to support mental health, consistency, and connection—especially for those who thrive with structure and shared purpose.
Each month, we host a FREE virtual 5K that participants can complete anytime during that month. Pace doesn’t matter. Experience doesn’t matter. Showing up does.
Why this matters:
Veterans and supporters often carry more than they share. Movement is one of the most accessible ways to protect mental health, reduce isolation, and rebuild consistency—without stigma or clinical barriers.
How it works
• Register once (free) — join anytime during the year
• Complete each month’s 5K anytime during that month
• Share a finish photo for community recognition (optional)
• Stay consistent with the community all year

#VFGSTRONG is supported by IamJamestowne (IMJ), a veteran-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving mental health, resilience, and community connection through fitness-based accountability, peer mentoring, and accessible wellness initiatives.
