From the organizer

The Water for Life Race exists to raise awareness and support for clean water initiatives serving the unreached Pokot Tribe of Northern Uganda , where access to safe water is virtually non-existent. 1 00% of all proceeds go toward new wells, solar wells, educational buildings, community resources, and our continual missions to disciple.

Join us in Valdosta for a family-friendly community event at the Water for Life 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run, where individuals and families run, walk, carry water, and stand together for those who currently can’t. Drexel ParkEvery step brings physical water and lasting hope, leading to the Living Water—Jesus.

Clean Water: A Doorway to the Unreached? Nearly 3.2 billion people—almost 40% of the world’s population—have little to no access to the gospel, including up to 2 billion who have never heard it even once. These same regions often lack clean water, contributing to nearly 1,000 child deaths each day.

In 2024, the Lord opened a door for LifeBridge Missions to reach the unreached Pokot Tribe, where less than 2% are Christians. Through four life-changing wells, over 4,000 lives have been impacted and around 700 have come to Christ, with unity, trust, and transformation taking root—including the start of a school as water no longer consumes their day.

The Lord has placed a clear call on our hearts to see the Pokot Tribe come to Christ, be discipled, and reach nearby unreached tribes. We invite you to partner with the vision God has given us.

Together, you, your family, and our community are transforming another community, an entire tribe for Jesus.  Take your step today-register, donate, volunteer! We can't wait to see you there
