Run5k International Women’s Independence is more than a celebration—it is a community investment in the future of women in sport and part of Atlanta 5K #RUN Independence Series.

4. Approved by The City Of Atlanta 

Our goal for 2026 is to raise $150,000 thousand to develop and expand women’s track and field programs in Atlanta, USA, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil through BrazilNation Academy Corporation a 501(c)(3) founded by our Brazilian Olympic Athlete and Navy Sergeant, Fabiana Zaya Moraes; to guide, protect and lead the next generation of Olympic athletes and young leaders. 

Every race entry is a donation and community empowerment that directly finances and supports girls and young women by providing access to:

1. Professional coaching and high-performance training.
2. Scholarships for underserved athletes
   Sports equipment, uniforms, and facilities.
3. Mental health, leadership, and life-skills programs.
4. International exchange opportunities between the U.S. and Brazil.
5. Safe, structured environments for girls to thrive through sport

WRUN | She Rises is a global 5K movement that brings collective investment and community strength to celebrate Women’s Independence through identity, freedom, and movement. Inspired by the strength, diversity, and resilience of women, WRun | She Rises empowers participants to run not only for distance—but for purpose.

Curated by our founder the Brazilian Olympic Athlete and Navy Sergeant Fabiana Zaya Moraes Founder and CEO of BrazilNation Academy Corporation and Make Changes Happen Management LLC, she caries the spirit of International Women’s Day, WRun | She Rises brings together women, girls, and allies to run not only for distance—but for Empowerment, Leadership, Equality, and Legacy.

Each participant runs with a purpose:

To honor women who came before.
To empower girls who will shape the future.
To ignite the fire within every woman.

She doesn’t rises alone. She rises together. She rises forever.

COMMUNITY & IMPACT COMPONENT

Each WRunner must support at least ONE cause:

1. Girls in sport
2. Women’s education
3. Health & wellness
4. Domestic violence prevention
5. Economic empowerment
