First Steps become Momentum
THE SERIES
The First Push is the second event in the Zero Dark Thirty Run Series — a progressive program designed to take participants from their first mile all the way to a full marathon.
At 3.1 miles, the 5K represents a push toward the final goal. It’s where trials and tribulations turn into consistency and momentum. It's where doubt starts to creep in telling us something is wrong. It’s also where participants lean on those around them for help to get them through and take breaks along the way and still finishing with a smile on their face.
