2026 SC Festival of Flowers 5-Mile, 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk

DESCRIPTION

Join us on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 8:00am for the "2026 Flower Power Fun Run"... one of the most fun 5-Mile/5K runs and 1-mile run/walk! The South Carolina Festival of Flowers invites participants to follow the Heritage Trail. Registration/Packet Pick-Up for this race will be held at the Uptown Fountain, located in Uptown Greenwood, SC.

Time:  7:00a – 7:50a | Registration/Packet Pick Up
           8:00a | 5 Mile Run Start (Timed Event)
           8:00a | 5K Run Start (Timed Event)
           8:00a | 1-Mile Run/Walk (Non-Timed)
           9:00a | Awards Ceremony

 

RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Late registration will be offered on race day from 7:00-7:50a via your mobile device. **Credit card or checks accepted.  NO CASH PAYMENT**

 

T-SHIRTS

Participants who register by 11:59pm on May 22, 2026 are guaranteed a T-shirt! Shirts are ordered based on the sizes indicated during online registration. There only will be a small number of shirts available on race day for those who registered after the deadline. They will be on a first-come, first-serve basis only!

 

PETS
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, pets are not permitted on the race course or within the event area. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

Cash Prizes | We will award cash prizes to the top male and female winners in the following races: 

 

5K: Top Male - Overall | $100
5K: 2nd Place Male - Overall | $50

5 Mile: Top Male - Overall | $100
5 Mile: 2nd Place Male - Overall | $50
5 Mile: Top Female - Overall | $100

Age Group Medals | One awarded per category: 

13 and under
14-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+

NOTE: Runners can only win one prize.  Finishers of the 1 mile run/walk will receive a ribbon.
 

WEATHER/CANCELLATION POLICY

Races are held, rain or shine, unless the SCFOF determines that conditions are too dangerous. This decision will be made on race weekend or race day. If the race is canceled due to inclement weather, there will be no refunds.
