Florence Freedom 5K

Simply Timing is excited to host the 3rd annual Freedom Florence 5K on Friday, July 4, 2025. The race will take place on the very flat and very fast Run Like a Nut course in downtown Florence, SC. All runners will be provided with finish medals, Cooled towels, and post-race concessions. Part of the proceeds will go to support the McLeod Foundation. This race will be a double points grand prix event. Come on out and celebrate America's birthday by starting a new family tradition with us by showing up and dressing out this July 4th!!!

Day of Packet Pickup starts at 6:30am
Announcements and National Anthem: 7:20am
5K Starts: 7:30am
1 Mile Walk/ Run: 7:35am
5K Awards: 8:40am

All runners who pre-register before June 1 will receive a red shirt or red tank top
Tank tops can only be chosen for pre-registered runners ONLY

Top 3 Masters Male and Female
Top 3 Male and Female in each Age Group

10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5K Registration Fees:

• April 1- May 15: $35
• May 15- July 3: $40
• Day of Registration: $45

1 Mile Run/ Walk Fee:
Early Registration before May 31st: $25
June 1st and After $30

Are strollers welcome: Yes
Can people listen to music while running? Not recommended, but yes they can
Are pets welcome: yes
There are no parking restrictions
There are no age restrictions
