Riverway 5K

Join us for the 2nd annual, Riverway 5K, a non-profit race benefiting Winyah Rivers Alliance, dedicated to protecting the rivers and waterways of our region.  This exciting event takes place in the heart of downtown Conway, SC, May 30, 2026, featuring a scenic route starting at the City’s Water tower near the beautiful Waccamaw River.  Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to support a great cause, this race is for you!  Proceeds help fund conservation efforts, water quality monitoring, and environmental education programs.  Sign up today and run for the rivers!!

Race Day Schedule:

• Packet Pickup Night before: May 29th, 2026 - 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Packet Pick up day of: May 30, 2026 – 7:00 AM – 7:45 AM
• 5k Starts: 8:00am
• Fun Run Starts: 8:10am
• Awards: approx. 9:15am

Course Map:

5K / Fun Rin:  The route will be the same as the “Under the Lights Run” held by City of Conway, mile Fun Run is just a condensed version of this.

Shirts:  

T-Shirts will be available to runners/sponsors.  

T-Shirt cutoff date is April 28th

Youth – S. M, L

Event special notes:

• Strollers are Welcome
• Feel free to listen to music while you run.
• No pet please.

5K Awards: (Overall Awards are based on Gun Time)

• Top Overall Male / Female:
• Top Masters (40+) Male / Female 
• Top 3 male and female in each age group 

5K Age Groups:

10 & Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49. 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5K Fees:

• $25 – early sign up (before April 15th)
• $30 – sign up between April 15th – April 30th
• $35 – sign up between May 1st – May 15th
• $40 – sign up between May 15 – May 30th
• $45 – sign up day of event – May 31st

Fun Run Fees:

• $20- Early Registration up to May 30th
• $25 Day of Registration
