“Dee” Pogue Foundation (DPF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a premier youth led/youth driven mentorship program. DPF has a 100% high school to college transition rate (in other words, every high school student who has completed the program has entered college)! Our organization focuses on S.T.E.M. education and is composed of young African American boys, ages 8-12. DPF’s mission is to develop adolescent boys into positive thinking young men through direct exposure and a 5-tier underpinning.
The 6TH ANNUAL DPF 5K RUN/WALK is scheduled to take place on SATURDAY, JUNE 20TH 2026 @ 8:00AM CST. We welcome you to experience our flat terrain, USATF certified course surrounding Zinn Park at 101 W. 14th Street in Anniston Alabama. A portion of the proceeds from our 5K will go to deserving male high school seniors, in Calhoun County, AL, who need a helping hand with pursuing their dream of earning a college degree.
Participants of our 6th Annual 5K Race must adhere to the following list:
- RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Race Day registrations, submitted between midnight and 6:29 am, must be completed online. The Check-In/Intake table will begin accepting manual registrations at 6:30 am.
- SHIRT ORDERS: The last day to order a race shirt is 5/31/2026. Submissions must be completed prior to midnight. Race shirts are not guaranteed after this date.
- CHECK-IN: 6:30 am - 7:45 am (packet pickup will occur during this time). For a faster Check-in, please present registration QR Code to Check-In team.
- RACE: Begins promptly at 8:00 am.
- BIB PLACEMENT: Bibs must be visible at all times and placed between the neck and waist of each participant. This is to ensure the accuracy of chip reading and picture identification throughout our event.

- PRE-EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION: All Participants (Jun 15, 2025 - Jun 30, 2025) - $15
- STUDENT REGISTRATION: 18 and under (Jul 1, 2025 - Jun 20, 2026) - $20
- ADULT EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION: (Jul 1, 2025 - Dec 31, 2025) - $20
- ADULT STANDARD REGISTRATION: (Jan 1, 2026 - May 31, 2026) - $25
- ADULT LATE REGISTRATION: (Jun 1, 2026 - Jun 20, 2026) - $30
