Celebrate five decades of running with Fleet Feet at The Big Run presented by Brooks. This community 5K on Global Running Day is all about summer vibes, shared memories and the kind of runner’s high that keeps you coming back.

The 2026 race will take place at Veterans Park in Hoover and will start at 6pm. Come early to hang and visit our vendors and stay after for an after party to celebrate your run and enjoy a good time!

The 5K is chip time and the course will be the Spain Park cross country course. All finishers will receive an exclusive Big Run 5k race medal. The top three finishers in each age group will also be awarded courtesy of Fleet Feet Birmingham and Brooks.
